For this box, we stitch a pair of flowers with a small bee and bits of cross-stitched rain. You'll learn about French knots, shading with satin stitch, stem stitch, and how to variegate your floss to create a shading effect.
 
The April 2020 box includes the following supplies: yellow scissors from Kelmscott Designs (retail value $17), Needle ($1), metal needle threader ($2.49), white linen fabric ($4.50), four-inch bamboo embroidery hoop ($2), Sublime Stitching floss palette ($9), a pattern printed onto cardstock to be transferred a pencil, and accompanying full-length video tutorials ($20). This brings the total value of April's box to $55.99! Note: All prices are in USD, and only include shipping if it’s an item that can ONLY be bought online, such as Sublime Stitching floss.
 
Before checking out, you'll need to choose whether you want a box with or without the yellow scissors, which will change the price accordingly (e.g., if you get a box without scissors, it's less expensive than the full box). 
 
You will receive a tracking number for your physical box, and also an email from me with your digital patterns and a link and password for your full-length video tutorial, so keep an eye out for that! The video tutorial is especially important for this kit because of the techniques we use for the project!
